Has worked within the legal profession for over 20 years with extensive experience in family law, with a focus on child arrangements including surrogacy and financial settlements. Particularly interested in connecting with expats who live in Portugal.

Graduated with a law degree from Middlesex University in 1998 and subsequently qualified as a solicitor at a London Legal 500 firm in 2001. From there, continued to expand experience and headed up the family team at Bretherton Law in St Albans, thereafter gaining partnership at Castelo Solicitors in Victoria, before joining Buckles as a Senior Associate and Accredited Family Mediator. Also a member of Resolution.

Specialises in all areas of divorce, surrogacy and family law and particular experience is in negotiating complex financial disputes and all aspects of children law cases, both within the UK and in cases with an international aspect. In addition to this, undertakes own advocacy at Court so can provide clients with a streamlined service and continual representation throughout their matter.

Also provides pro-bono services to various organisations and charities to assist clients in gaining an initial understanding of their rights and options.
