In family law cases as a former part time family court judge, has experience across all aspects of family law including divorce cases, in particular, those involving high net worth (HNW) and ultra high net worth (UNHW) clients, financial claims on behalf of children (Schedule 1 claims) and child arrangement proceedings (contact including variation and enforcement).
Also experienced in advising on tax efficient structures both for commercial and personal clients (including estate planning). In corporate and commercial matters, has advised start ups to the boards of multi-national companies in matters covering the gamut of issues a company might face from non-contentious issues such as contracts (including service and support contracts), mergers and acquisitions through to contentious matters such as shareholder or director disputes, as well as breach of contract claims.
Having obtained a Masters specialising in Management from Harvard University where he won the Deans List Academic Achievement Award for outstanding academic achievement, he is able to bring a commercial and business orientated mindset, to his legal advice.
Whilst at Oxford University undertaking postgraduate studies, has been awarded an Academic Futures full graduate scholarship (one of only 45 recipients) in recognition of his abilities to apply academic and complex theories to real world problems that will shape the future.
Working on advances in AI, medical science and the application of ground breaking technology to businesses and enterprise and therefore can bring a strong background in technology and commercial awareness to his work. Outside his academic and legal work, a keen amateur chef and gamer particularly strategy games. Also enjoys spending quality time with his family.
