Tofiq has a Bachelor of Laws degree. He also has a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics. He initially qualified as a barrister and was subsequently admitted as a solicitor.

He has over 35 years’ legal experience and has worked in small, medium and large organisations. Tofiq has been a partner in a number of London firms and has been a consultant for the last 20 years.

He has substantial experience in property litigation and lease disputes, as well as general civil and commercial matters. He also has considerable experience in children law and is a member of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme.

He has Higher Rights of Audience in civil and criminal proceedings.
