They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS)<\/li>\n<li>the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS)<\/li>\n<li>the Venture Capital Trust (VCT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Unsuccessful investment<\/h2>\n<p>Contingency plans are always required, just in case an investment is made in an unsuccessful company.
